Supernatural or Superstitious?

I am PUMPED to be teaching tonight at First Wednesday (6:30-8p) at New Life Church. I believe tonight is going to be one of those nights when skeptics become supporters and doubters become believers. I believe tonight has the potential to bring New Life’s faith alive as we explore the topic of HEALING.

Who does it?
What is it?
Where is it happening (if it even is)?
When does it happen (if it actually does)?
Why does it seem so unbelievable?

Do NOT be afraid to ask questions. Do NOT be afraid to express your fears and doubts. Do NOT be afraid to simply say, “This doesn’t make sense to me.” I say, “Do NOT be afraid,” because you gotta CONFESS it to CONQUER it.

People are hurting.
People are sick.
People are dying.

And somehow our faith has gone from believing God can and will HEAL us to believing this sickness, this illness, this disease, this injury is merely our fate, our destiny, and we just gotta deal with it. Somehow we’ve become a people less interested in what God has SAID and what God can DO. Somehow we’ve become a people lost in the confusion of skepticism and cynicism. Somehow we’ve lost our faith.

Tonight, WE FIGHT TO GET IT BACK.
