I Can't Or I Won't?

I can’t.

These two words will ruin your life. I’m not even going to try and sugarcoat this one. It’s like waking up and deciding not to breathe. It’s like dying of hunger when a plate of food is just a few feet away. I can’t. I can’t. I can’t.

I CAN’T translates into I WON’T.

Sound familiar? I would like to suggest many of us DEFEAT ourselves before we ever even try simply because we convince ourselves I CAN’T. Many of us WON’T attempt something great because we believe I CAN’T. Let that sink in for a minute. We don’t even TRY. What’s up with that? How can we possibly see our dream fulfilled and experience the GREAT things God has in store for us when we WON’T even TRY?!?

If you call yourself a Christian, if you have a relationship with God through His son Jesus, then you CAN. YOU can because HE can.

Don’t kill your dreams before they ever have a chance to live.
Don’t stop before you ever really try.
Don’t defeat yourself when God has given you victory.

Change your perspective.
Realign your vision to His.
He has GREAT things in store for you.
If you’re going to kill something kill the ‘T.

I CAN.
You CAN.
He CAN.
Together we DEFINITELY can!

When was the last time you said, “I can’t”? Where do these doubts come from? Why do you defeat yourself? Do you want to stay there? What needs to change?
