After surviving a 9-hour road trip from West Virginia to North Carolina, my family and I are now relaxing and waiting to board the ferry for Bald Head Island for a 7-day getaway. No stress. No worries. No responsibilities (well… maybe SOME). No alarm clock. I am PUMPED!
If you’re anything like me you somehow feel whole or complete in your WORK. This couldn’t be further from the truth. I am made whole in CHRIST, not my job, not my ministry, not my anything else. This week will be a FANTASTIC opportunity to get alone with God and connect with my family.
My recommendation?
Do the same.
Get away.
Get alone with God.
Reconnect with your spouse.
Play with your kids.
You’re WORTH it (and so are they)!
