In Christ You Are Unstoppable; In _____ You Are Stopped

I love my wife. I’m not talking about loving the IDEA of my wife or some IDEAL of my wife… I L-O-V-E my wife!

I love the way she looks (we’re talking smokin’ hot!).
I love the way she speaks.
I love the way she feels.
I love the way she cares about others.
I love the way she loves me.
I love the way the Holy Spirit uses her to reach me (seriously, he does).

My wife probably knows me better than anyone else I know. In fact, she probably knows me better than I know MYSELF! She knows my body language. She knows the different tones of my voice. She knows my habits and routines. She knows my facial expressions. She KNOWS me.

She knows when I’m happy and choosing JOY.
She knows when I’m struggling and stuck in DEPRESSION.

I am GRATEFUL for the openness of our relationship and her willingness to speak TRUTH into my life.

“Nick, in Christ you are UNSTOPPABLE; in depression you are STOPPED.”

Seeing her husband struggling, seeing her husband hurting, seeing her husband stuck, she didn’t go about her business, she grabbed me, hugged me, and whispered EXACTLY what I needed to hear.

37Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
Romans 8:37 NKJV

I cannot and will not conquer anything if I choose to hand my VICTORY over to my STRUGGLE. In Christ, victory is already mine. Why would I ever want to choose DEFEAT?

God’s probably already brought someone to mind that YOU need to reach out to.
What will you do?
How will you respond?
You can make an immediate DIFFERENCE in someone’s life.
Remind them of their VICTORY!!

• Why do you sometimes WANT to stay stuck in our struggle?
• Are you STOPPED in your struggle or STANDING in your victory?
• Who do you know that’s willing to speak TRUTH into your life when you need it?
• Who do you know that needs someone to speak TRUTH into his/ her life?
• Will you choose to live UNSTOPPABLE or STOPPED?
