God is BIGGER and BETTER than the things you and I think and feel we need. Yet many times our focus shifts from the God who GIVES to the things we’re trying to GET. Don’t get caught up in the gimmie game…

Gimmie a husband that’ll listen…

Gimmie…

God is not a Pez dispenser. He’s not here to please us. That’s not His job. That’s not His purpose. Don’t get me wrong, He WILL and DOES give us the things we want and need… that’s called BLESSING. And no matter how BIG or how GRAND the thing God gives, it pales in comparison to His PRESENCE.

Refocus. Look to HIM, not STUFF.

Without God I AM nothing.
Without God I HAVE nothing.

• Where’s your focus today: God or things?
• What would happen if you stopped focusing on the things you “need” and started trusting the God who gives?
• When was the last time your prayers were filled with “gimmies”?
