How To Have An Amazing Day

Your alarm is set for 5:00am.
You wake up and notice the clock reads 4:59am.
What do you do?
Do you get up?
Do you wait?
Do you get up shouting, “CRAP! Why today?!? I NEED my rest!”
Do you try and get that last minute (or less) of sleep (like you’re actually going to be able to fall back asleep in a few seconds)?
The pillow feels so good and the blankets feel so warm.
It FEELS like you’re supposed to stay in bed. It’s so welcoming. It’s so comfortable.
If you get up, you’re mad that you’re up earlier than planned.
If you wait, you’re mad that you’re up earlier than planned AND you had to hear the alarm.

What’s the win?

How about celebrating the fact you WOKE UP?
How about celebrating electricity…
Or your house…
Or you're the fact you have enough money to spend on a freaking bed!

Maybe it’s time for a GRATITUDE check! Stop focusing on the things you DON’T have or how things AREN’T going according to your immediate plans and start GIVING THANKS for the little things that seem to be overlooked time and time again. You just might have the most AMAZING day you’ve EVER HAD if you’d slow down long enough to realize all you HAVE (and it just might follow up with an amazing day from that day on)!
