Ever have one of those mornings when you just FEEL like no matter what you do you’re running behind schedule? The kids won’t get up. The windows won’t defrost. The traffic light won’t change. That car won’t go the speed limit. If it isn’t one thing it’s another. And when you’ve finally moved passed that one there’s something else.
Insert scream here.
Slow down. Take a deep breath. It’s going to be ok. You’re going to reach your destination. You just might not get there by the time you originally planned.
If you want MORE time, get up EARLIER. MAKE time. Stop blaming everyone else for your inability to manage time wisely. Set an alarm. Set two. Make preparations the night BEFORE so you’re not stuck doing everything in the morning. Oh geez, did I just say that? Yes, I did. Somebody needed to tell you. Heck, I needed to tell me!
The people around you aren’t hindering your schedule, you are. You’re also the only one who can improve it. It’s time to suck it up, make some apologies, and then make some changes in how you manage your time.
