Relationships can be difficult, but they’re worth it. You can’t do life alone. Give someone a call. Send someone a text. Go out to eat. Get around the people in your neighborhood. The world is missing out on your awesomeness! Don’t keep it all to yourself.

Friends of Loneliness
Relationships can be difficult at times, I’d even go so far as to say tiring or exhausting (yes, relationships require work). Somebody says something and it offends you. Somebody does something and it hurts you. Somebody’s always doing something that bugs you, if even just a little, and as we all know, little things add up to one, big, huge, gigantic, overwhelming thing. It’s for reasons like this that it can seem like a good idea to ISOLATE.
Please allow me to just cut to the chase and tell you that’s NOT a good idea.
Isolating is the easy choice. You don’t have to worry about talking to others, pleasing others, serving others, offending others, being offended by others, or whatever else people do together. It’s easier to AVOID the potential of being hurt. It’s easier to steer clear of the PROJECTED outcome. It’s easier to be alone.
Again, please allow me to cut to the chase and tell you that it’s NOT easier.
Isolation leads to loneliness. We weren’t mean to be alone. God created man and realized he wasn’t enough, so he made woman (and they were naked… just sayin’). God intended for us to be a family, to be friends, to help one another, to talk with one other, to support one another, to be there for one another, to serve one another, to listen to one another, and whole lotta other one anothers. And I’m not talking about hanging with some of loneliness’ friends, you may have already met them: sadness, depression, fear, and anxiety. Do any of these names sound familiar?
Relationships can be difficult, but they’re worth it. You can’t do life alone. Give someone a call. Send someone a text. Go out to eat. Get around the people in your neighborhood. The world is missing out on your awesomeness! Don’t keep it all to yourself.
