He started it!
It’s her fault!
Let him finish it!
She’s the one who wanted to do it!

I was the KING of blaming others. I could wiggle my way out of any situation. I learned at a young age how to keep a straight face while lying (for whatever reason nobody believed me if I was smirking). I didn’t want to get in trouble. I didn’t want to get blamed. I didn’t want responsibility for what was going to happen. So, even if I WAS involved… it wasn’t MY idea!

Take a moment and read what Paul wrote to the church at Philippi.

being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Philippians 1:6

Paul’s doing the same thing here, only he’s using it to ENCOURAGE people, not EVADE trouble. God started it. God is doing it. God’s ultimately gonna make it happen!

You CAN change. You’re NOT stuck. Becoming the man or woman you’ve always wanted to be IS possible. And here’s the amazing part: YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO IT ALONE. Reality is you CAN’T do it on your own. We NEED God’s help. Hey, after all, HE started it!
