Jesus answered and said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.
Luke 5:31 NKJV
Saying “I don’t need help” is the same as saying, “I don’t need Jesus.”
Saying “I don’t have a struggle” is the same as saying, “I don’t have a need for Jesus.”
Saying “I’m not one of those people” is the same as saying, “I’m not don’t know Jesus” (it’s okay Peter said the same thing).
Saying “I’ve got this under control” is the same as saying, “I’m better than Jesus.”
Which one is it? Who are you? Do you need him or not? Do you want him or not? Do you know him or not? Do you actually think you’re better than him?
Take some time today and evaluate your PRESENT (get the heck out of the past). Are you growing? Are you serving? Are you giving? Are you connected?
Are you sick and in need of Jesus or are you feeling okay and just gonna put him back up in the medicine cabinet for an emergency?
