When Victory is Just Out of Reach

Ever have those moments when VICTORY seems about as distant as the other side of the planet? Ever have those moments when a WIN seems about as possible as enjoying reality TV? Ever have those moments when OVERCOMING an obstacle… you get the picture.

Sometimes we go through some stuff. I mean some SERIOUS stuff. I’m not talking about going through the McDonald’s drive-thru and discovering (once you got home) you were served old French fries. No! I’m talking about those moments in life when you feel like life is going to END. I’m talking about those hospital visiting, job losing, spouse cheating, drug using, child abusing moments when you’re about to lose your mind and you just want it all to end.

I started feeling overwhelmed just writing that.

If you can relate, which you probably can, know that you’re NOT ALONE! You might be there NOW, but that doesn’t mean you’re going to STAY THERE! We go through seasons of GOOD and we go through seasons of BAD, but they’re just moments in our lives. Will you endure? Can you make it through? You could probably see light at the end of the tunnel if the tunnel wasn’t full of so much crap. Victory seems improbable while you’re IN it, but soon you’ll be OUT of it.

Victory is getting up one more time than you've fallen down.
