God's Plan For My Life

Jonah wanted NOTHING to do Nineveh.

Jonah wanted NOTHING to do with what God had called him to.

So, instead of FOLLOWING, Jonah ran.

Because of his DECISION to run Jonah put himself and OTHERS in danger.

Jonah found himself in the middle of a STORM.

Jonah found himself inside a FISH.

Jonah endured hardship because of HIS decision, not God’s desire.

Jonah faced obstacles because of POOR CHOICES, not God’s calling.

Prayer CENTERED Jonah’s heart on God’s presence.

Prayer ALIGNED Jonah’s heart to God’s will.

Prayer brought Jonah CLOSER to God.

What are you running from? What has God called you to do that you think is absurd, crazy, ludicrous, impossible, improbable, and simply ISN’T what YOU want to do? What storms COULD’VE BEEN or MIGHT BE avoided through the decision to FOLLOW God instead of RUN AWAY FROM God?
