I woke up this morning PUMPED and GRATEFUL! Grateful that
Jesus met me right where I was—an addict (drugs, alcohol, porn) on the verge of
destroying his marriage and losing his kids. He met me there, but he didn’t
leave me there. Jesus came into my life and transformed my biggest MESS into my
greatest MESSAGE… a message of hope, healing, and FREEDOM! I may not be where I
want to be (yet), but I’m grateful I’m not where I WAS! And I am PUMPED because
following Jesus, chasing after his purpose for my life, means I’m always making
PROGRESS, moving FORWARD, constantly GROWING and CHANGING!
You cannot stay in the presence of Jesus and stay the same!
You CAN’T! If you were a jerk THEN and are a jerk NOW… something’s wrong! Don’t
point to Jesus and say, “He hasn’t done enough.” He died on the cross for you;
what more are you looking for? The changes you WANT require letting something
GO. Let go of the pride. Let go of the fear. Let go of the control. Let go of
the anger. Let go of the pain. Letting it go creates space for Jesus to move in
and do what only he can do (perform a MIRACLE).
