Nothing reminds me more of my need for Jesus than the time I
spend driving. Yes, driving. When
people are driving 30mph in a 50mph zone I want to nudge them a little (or a
lot) until they either speed up or pull over. When people cut me off I want to
use the PIT maneuver in return. When people don’t use their blinkers I want to
tell them their #1. It’s crazy. I’m working on it. Pray for me.
Driving may seem like a little
thing, but how many little things do we let slide? They’re not that bad. It’s just driving (TV,
Facebook, Candy Crush, shopping, etc.). Well, eventually all these little things
add up into a BIG thing and that’s when we’re in trouble.
Jesus said it only takes a little leaven to ruin the entire
batch of bread. I’ve also heard it said it only takes a little poop to ruin the
entire batch of brownies. I’ve also heard it said it only takes a little bit of
sin to destroy your life.
The little things add up.
Don’t wait until things get out of control.
Turn to Jesus NOW so you can enjoy your LATER.
