I put too much pressure on my kids.
The expectations I set for my kids are too high.
I need to remind myself that my kids are KIDS and they will
act accordingly (and that’s okay).
As a parent, I should be more proactive.
As a parent, I should engage my kids and their education.
But I don’t…
Instead I expect them to get it done.
To not ask questions.
To not missed assignments.
To get all A’s (though I don’t say it, but Jesus said to
THINK it is the same as DOING it…).
I have no idea who their teachers are.
I have no idea what grade their in.
I have no idea what they’re doing and if they’re getting it
done.
I’m failing my kids as their parent.
I gotta remember they’re just kids.
Kids need direction.
Kids need help.
Kids need support and encouragement.
Kids need to be shown GRACE!
Maybe you can relate.
Maybe you can’t.
Maybe you don’t WANT to.
I’m going to change.
What about you?
